DIBELS Regional Workshops

These training events are designed for individuals, or school-based teams to come together and learn the “why” and the “how” of DIBELS. Teams will return from the workshop with a deeper understanding of why this system is important. They will have the skills, and confidence to accurately and efficiently conduct a benchmark assessment for a school or district.

For those attendees who wish to go further, we offer a one-day workshop that provides instruction on how to interpret the DIBELS data to help teachers group students and differentiate their instruction. This day includes instruction on progress monitoring with DIBELS, which is absolutely essential if you are thinking of moving into a Response To Intervention model. DIBELS Training Institutes

This is our annual training event led by DIBELS Authors, Roland Good, Ph.D. and Ruth Kaminski, Ph.D. It is held in beautiful Eugene, Oregon for 4 days beginning in late June. Days 1 and 2 are the Essential "why" and "how" of DIBELS and days 3 and 4 provide a Training of Trainers (Mentor Training) component. Attendees will leave this event with the skills and all the necessary materials to return to their school or district and train any additional staff. This is an excellent, cost effective training if you are interested in having all teachers in your building or district trained on the use of a DIBELS system.
